Job duties from the source

Temporary need for seasonal tasks associated with milking dairy goats. Duties require knowledge and expertise performing milking by hand and with a pulsator-type miliking machine. Duties include: Asceptic handling, filtering and bottling goat milk. Milking will be performed twice daily with thorough chemical cleaning disinfection of dairy parlor and milking equipment after each milking. Continuous monitoring of individuals productivity and udder health.

Additional requirements

Applicant must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with general dairy goat husbandry and modern milking equipment.
