EMPLOYEES WILL BE PICKING AND HARVESTING HIBISCUS SABDARIFFA BY HAND ACCORDING TO THE SHAPE, COLOR, MATURITY LEVEL AND/OR RIPENESS. THEY WILL ALSO BE STAKING, PULLING WEEDS, RAKING, PREPPING THE FIELDS FOR THE NEXT SEASON, 12.57CLEANING AREAS AROUND THE FARMS AND BUILDINGS. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE FIELD MAINTENANCE, CAMP SANITATION, LAYING IRRIGATION PIPE, DIGGING DITCHES, PULLING PLASTIC, LOADING AND UNLOADING. THIS WILL ALL BE DONE UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. HEAVY LIFTING, BENDING AND STOOPING WILL BE INVOLVED ON A DAILY BASIS.

52LB LIFTING TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER HEAVY BENDING AND STOOPING REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS 2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.

All referrals are to be directed to Sandra Perez Razo 229-345-4849. Collect calls will not be accepted. Walk-in applications will be accepted for interview, office hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Because of prior problems with invalid social security numbers: all applicants should be advised that, after being hired, all workers social security will be verified by the social security administration. All local and intrastate applicants may apply direct to employer. Referred and walk-in applicants should bring with them original documentation of identity and employment eligibility documents (original documents only., sufficient to complete the I-9 Form. All workers from within normal commuting distance recruited against this job order will not be provided housing and transportation.
